What is your cancellation policy?

Please note: We’re unable to cancel via email. Cancellations can be made through the student portal. You can find more information in our Student Portal Resources.

Driving Lesson Cancellations

Cancel via the Student Portal. More than 48 hours before the scheduled start: free. Between 48 hours and 2 hours before: $100 fee. In both cases, the lesson returns to your account to reschedule. Less than 2 hours before, or after the lesson starts: full forfeiture, with no credit or refund. See the full cancellation policy.

No-Show or Non-Compliant Students

Missing a lesson or arriving without a permit, required footwear, or corrective lenses results in full lesson forfeiture, with no credit or refund. Testing eligibility may be affected; see our full driving lesson policies.

Bring the following items to every lesson to avoid forfeiture:

  • A physical permit/driving license.
  • Glasses/contacts if you have a Restriction B.
  • Proper footwear as outlined in the Footwear Policy. We suggest sneakers.

Tardiness and Make-up Lessons

Arrive within 30 minutes of the scheduled start, or 15 minutes for lessons involving observers, to avoid full forfeiture with no credit or refund. Late arrival, early departure, or disruption earns credit only for time completed. Required make-up time must be purchased and completed as a full two-hour lesson. Forfeiture may delay testing eligibility. Read the full tardiness and make-up policy.

Road Tests

License tests must be cancelled 5 days in advance. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee of $60 for The Next Street and the $40 DMV test fee. No shows will result in a forfeiture of the test.
