Full 30-Hour Driver’s Education Course for Teens & Adults in Newington, CT

Our most complete path to a license. This program pairs 30 hours of live Zoom classes with 8 hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons. It goes well beyond Connecticut’s 8-hour drug and alcohol safety minimum, teaching new drivers how to handle real Newington roads with confidence and courtesy. Teens benefit from a shorter license wait time, and many families qualify for insurance discounts depending on their provider. Classes can be taken in any order, and extra lessons can be added whenever you need them.

Most students complete the program in about 8 weeks during the normal school year and as fast as 2 weeks during summer break.

Important Note: Connecticut law mandates that students under 18 may attend only ONE class on school days and TWO classes on non-school days.

*Our top-rated program & recommended for all new drivers!

*Does not include license testing. You’ll be able to add this service during online enrollment.

8 Hour Safe Driving Course

Our 8-hour safe driving course, also called the drug and alcohol safety course, satisfies Connecticut’s minimum driver education requirement. Every session is led by a certified instructor over Zoom, so you can complete the requirement from home on a schedule that fits your life. The course is offered as either:

  • One 8-hour day (adults only)
  • Two 4-hour days
  • Four 2-hour sessions

Private driving lessons aren’t included, but you can add them on at any point. Learn more about this program or enroll now!

Private Driving Lessons in Newington, CT

Lessons run in 2-hour blocks and start with the fundamentals, giving your instructor a clear read on your experience, skill, and comfort behind the wheel. From there, we help you master each core skill before moving on to the next: accelerating, braking, turning, and parking maneuvers first. Then, we’ll graduate to lane choice, speed management, city and rural roads, hill driving, highway driving, and mock road tests if purchased.

Our Difference

1: Flexible Scheduling

Between work, classes, and everything in between, driver’s ed shouldn’t be one more thing you have to jam into your schedule. That’s why we offer more time slots and location availability than most Connecticut driving schools, seven days a week, with classes taught live over Zoom so you can learn from home. You set the pace for earning your license. We help you get there.

2: Right in Your Neighborhood

Our Newington location sits at 95 Fenn Road, with lesson pick-up and drop-off in the lot just next to the pizza place. We’re easy to find, whether you’re coming from the Berlin Turnpike, West Hartford, or down Cedar Street. Private behind-the-wheel lessons happen on the same roads you actually drive, so the skills you build are the ones you’ll use every day.

3: Affordable Prices & Payment Plans

We believe cost should never stand in the way of someone learning to drive safely. Our programs are competitively priced, and we offer flexible payment plans so every student and family in Newington can get started without financial stress.

4: Curriculum That Covers Everything

With a full 30-hour program, plus one-on-one behind-the-wheel training, our courses are built to do more than check a box. We teach the “why” behind safe driving, not just the rules, so students leave understanding how to read the road and make smart decisions long after the test is passed.

5: Tech-Friendly Learning

From online enrollment and live virtual Zoom classes to our 24/7 self-service student portal, managing your entire driver’s ed experience is simple and stress-free. Check your schedule, book lessons, and track your progress, all in one place, any time. Get real-time feedback from your instructor on an in-lesson tablet and browse our digital safe driving resources online!

6: Our Cars, Your Safe Space

We go the extra mile. Our cars carry 5-star safety ratings and are GPS-monitored for speed and location, and our instructors are trained to keep the car calm and judgment-free. Through empathy, patience, and compassion, we put the safety and comfort of every student first.
