This Teen Upgrade is designed for students ages 16–17 who have already completed Connecticut’s required 8-Hour Drug & Alcohol Safety Program and want to continue their classroom education without starting over. With this upgrade, teen students complete Sessions 5–15 of our 30-Hour Comprehensive Driver Education Course, gaining an additional 22 hours of advanced driver education. These sessions build on the foundation of the 8-Hour course and dive deeper into defensive driving, decision-making, vehicle control, and real-world driving scenarios. All classes are taught live via Zoom by state-certified instructors. This classroom-only program provides the knowledge and confidence teens need as they prepare for behind-the-wheel instruction and long-term safe driving. Driving lessons can be added at any time.
