This bundle combines a 2-hour private driving lesson with your official Massachusetts Road Test, conducted at a Next Street testing location. It’s designed for adult new drivers who are ready to earn their license and prefer to test in a calm, familiar setting instead of the RMV.
You’ll practice with a certified instructor in a dual-controlled Next Street vehicle, then test in the same car at our facility with an RMV examiner on-site. We handle all coordination with the RMV, manage your paperwork, and guide you through every step so you can focus on driving with confidence.
Note: RMV testing fees not included.
Massachusetts has different requirements for getting a driver’s license depending on the student’s age. However, all students must have their physical learner’s permit with them on test day—no pictures or copies. If your permit has a “B” restriction, you must also wear your glasses or contacts.
Teens (16½–17)
- Be at least 16½ on test day
- Hold a learner’s permit for at least 6 months
- Complete a driver education program, including:
- 30 hours of classroom instruction, plus a 2-hour Parent Class
- 12 hours behind-the-wheel driving instruction
- 6 hours in-car observation
- Complete 40 hours of supervised driving with a parent/guardian
- Earn RMV Driver Education Certificate
Adults (18+)
- No waiting period required—you can test at any time after getting a learner’s permit
- Completing a driver education program is not required, but strongly recommended
- We recommend at least 40 hours of supervised driving practice before testing to ensure road readiness
Wait times are based on your permit issue date, not when you begin class.
The RMV provides us with a license test date and time with one week’s notice. To qualify for the test, we must have 30 eligible students ready to test.
We generally offer between two and four tests per month. Tests are offered at our Worcester, Northampton, and West Springfield locations.
- Single-product purchases: Refundable within 6 months, minus a 10% processing fee
- Bundle purchases: Non-refundable once any service in the bundle has been started
